Hi,
Is the hide profile in search function working? I've tried to but it still shows up when I test it with an alt

Hi Nixie! I think the profiles are broken some. Yesterday my hidden groups were not hiding!

Oh but the hide in search box does not hide you in search that is right! It makes you not get a profile web page but you are still in search  |

Thanks ... the hide groups worked for me when I tried those. I can just find my alts when I do a people search

Yes I am sorry that I was confusing. The hidden groups broke yesterday but it works today. The hide in search box never does what it says it does, I do not know why they call it that.

It only hides you in websearch/all search and people get the message that you have chosen to hide your profile when trying to view it from there. You still get found in the people search, and people still see your profile when searching in this tab.
All in all? A pretty useless feature.

Yes and it does not really keep you away from search all! There can still be a link for your profile there.

So there is no way to make out that your account has closed down then unless you actually do it?
