I was recently the victim of a fraudulent web site that sells second life Linden.

I am new to second life and did not realize there were sites out there that sold linden fraudulently.

When my account was closed, I was informed that the site had been quite active and that they stole credit card information.

I went through paypal and have reported them and opened a claim to attempt to have my money returned.

I was asked to spread the word around so others will not make the same mistake.

Your biggest mistake was trusting any other site OTHER than Second Life to exchange money for Lindens.

Next time you see a site like this, make sure it's officially approved by Linden Labs. There are plenty of websites out there that want your money; You should be careful where you spend it.

SLExchange is safe too and usually has slightly better purchasing rates than the LindeX.

Never use eBay, though!

ALWAYS GOOGLE THE SITE IF MONEY IS INVOLVED
