Hi there
I've run into a problem with my SL viewer , I dragged the viewer to make it smaller and then left it like that when I logged off. Now when I start SL it is the small window and just stays black , can't even get it back to normal size because it just locks up.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same , its the latest version that was offered to us on download if that helps.

There is a preferences folder for each avatar that you have logged in with, that retains a bunch of settings even through a complete uninstall/reinstall of SL. That is probably why the window is sized small still.
You should still be able to see the upper left corner of the login screen, even if you size it really small. If you see an edit menu, open that and select your Preferences. Then go to the Graphics tab and uncheck "Run secondlife in a window". When you apply that change and close preferences, SecondLife should start running full-screen, and you should be able to log in.
