Parcel Ownership and Search Ranking

Will change in ownership of a parcel affect its search ranking? For example, if one deeds land to a group, will the land have the same ranking in search that it did under the previous owner?

Related, if people have pics of the land in their profiles that were created prior to change of ownership, will those pics lose their relevance after land is deeded to the group? Will the pics be automatically updated to reflect new ownership?

Thank you!

I do know that if you join too parcels the oldest parcel will become the default, so if you have a 1024 parcel with a traffic count of 400 and a 16 parcel with a count of 2, if the older parcel is the 16 m after you join the traffic count will be 2.

That used to be true, more or less, but not now. It's now the largest one that is used for the settings, etc.

If you change the pic for the parcel, that pic will change in all existing landmarks as well. I think it also does for any "Picks".

not true. your picks pics need to be manually updated. you can do that by loading it yourself with something you happen to have in your inventory... or you have to go back to the store and delete then re-add the link to your picks.
