this has been around for a while.. or ones like it.. I dont know about the kicking.. but thats not the real problem anyway.. Men will never know the true dept of childbirth adn frankly I do not think they could handle it anyway.

Gah, bad enough in SL... people just like sharing entirely too much information with the rest of the world, don't they? Hmm... must find out how to mute these new bellies.

no, no, no, no, no.... not putting that anywhere near my belly! Besides, I'd be spamming people like crazy ... I've got a wild child in there! :D

Oh yeah. I haven't run into one of these in a while, but when I did they became my main pet hate in SL.

Because the goddam fetuses in SL often BROADCAST IN LIVE CHAT!!!

It's one thing for the pregnant lady to feel movements and kicking and for her "condition" to demand things like pickles and ice cream or whatever. That's what she signed up for in SL and I support her in her choice. But why do we have to have every flutter of her child-to-be broadcast to every random person in chat range?! If this happened in RL, it would be the strongest possible argument for involuntary abortion. In SL, what are your choices? You can grate your teeth and put up with it. You can ask the "pregnant" lady to shut her damn kid up, and usually get a lot of attitude in return. You can leave the venue - but why should you have to leave when it's the other party that's bugging people?! Or, if you're lucky, you have the means to eject/ban/orbit/otherwise-grief the person inflicting her pregnancy on people who REALLY DON'T WANT TO EXPERIENCE IT WITH HER.

Hey listen, I have kids. When my wife was pregnant, i was totally into supporting her and our children-to-be. I love kids. They are the future. To take the most selfish approach possible, today's and tomorrow's kids will be the people staffing the nursing home you probably wind up in. Be practical here. And I am not selfish. I love kids.

But NOTWHEN THEY TELL ME THEY ARE KICKING THEIR MOMMY IN THE TUMMY AND HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN BORN YET!!!

Makers of these abominations, have a little mercy on the rest of us. Fix them so they communicate only with their "mommies" and maybe a few people their mommies designate AND LEAVE THE REST OF US OUT OF IT!

That is all.

I don't see what all the fuss is, really....

I mean, I am sure there are lots of baby-eating feral predators would be very interested to know how dinner is cooking in the oven.

I'm not a baby-eating feral predator myself, ya know, but just sayin'... 8/

At least on Facebook you would have the option of whether or not you received that info about another person's pregnancy. In SL, you are just spammed with it and have to take an extra step to stop getting the info.

Yes, but that's the extra steps we're talking about! And I'm lazy!
