I installed the newest second life client. There were some files that would not install.....one was the .exe file that i need to run. I clicked the icon on my desktop and it took me to the crash reporter thing. It is the one that says that Second Life may appear frozen....it never does start second life

I had a few issues with the latest download too.
Try reinstalling Second Life, after ensuring all the old files are deleted. I had to do this three times before this version of the client would run properly for me...

I did uninstall it then re-installed it....should i delete the actual "Second Life" file?

yes delete anything related to SL
then redownload the client and try again

I tried to delete it and it said i need permissions to delete it! I am on the admin of my computer.....WTH!

So is it recommended that I should uninstall the SL program, and reinstall it after - without installing any Candidate Viewer?
EDIT: I just uninstalled the SL program and whatever relates to it, and I am about to reinstall it now. Maybe that will reduce some of the lag.
