Second Life Web Site: Re-Direct to Registration

I just experienced this, so I don't know if it's a temporary problem or a new feature. I thought I'd ask here.

I've been trying to go to http://www.secondlife.com so I can check the FAQs.

However, that address immediately re-directs me to a registration page. I am directed to the "Second Life Registration: Select a Community."

Temporary problem, or new feature? If the latter, where do I go to find links to the Knowledge Base, FAQs, TOS, and that good stuff?

You're not the only one. Same issue here and the page you do get to is corrupted.

It's borked, even that signup page has an error message scrawled at the bottom.

It just happened to me, too. They're probably working on the site, though, as that registration page looks nothing like the one I used a couple of weeks ago to create an alt.

It didn't look corrupted, but I didn't examine it too closely.

One instance of testing it though, I didn't get that page, but got re-directed to "join.secondlife.com" which is the select-an-avatar page. I only got that once, then back to the Registration page.

I guess that answers my question. They have some temporary problems updating the web site or something.

The support page is down also, LL®™ is right on top of things as usual.
