PLEEEEESSS help. Ever since I had my Laptop go into hibernation due to battery fail whilst in SL and restarting from the hibernated state (vista) I have been unable to wear any skirts. They go on and are visible if i go into appearance but shrink to 0 length as soon as i come out. I have tried every thing i can think of. Clearing the cache, rebooting, removing all files from my roaming directory but I cant get them back. Any ideas, as I dont want to spend the rest of my SL life in pants :)

Thanks to any out there who can help
Lucy

Is this a older version of SL? There was a problem with skirts back in late May and early June. It has been fixed with later versions of the viewer.

Change to using the latest Release Candidate Client. You may need to clear cache and/or rebake the character textures while wearing each affected skirt. But the new RC client has a bug fix in it that is specificly for this problem. The standard client has the bug, but not the fix.

OK pretty typical just after posting I have sorted it. Seems there was a rogue sexy walk animation that was still attached even though it wasnt being worn. This then fell into the known bug of a hud vs textures rendering. One I was able to clear the attachment my skirt reappeared like magic.
