Sorry if this has been discussed already but I cannot find it in "search." Anyone else have a strange "black line" running down the right side of their torso? Like something is not rezzed properly? I have tried rebaking. It's not my shirt or t-shirt, I have taken both off. And it's not my skin as I have changed that as well. However all of my skins are by the same brand. But one of my friends is having the same problem with a different skin brand.
Thanks, Cicatrice

I haven't seen this in a long time (pre-Windlight anyway), but it is sometimes baking gone wrong. To get rid of it, I used to do something like this:
1. Clear cache in preferences and quit the viewer.
2. Find SL's user_settings directory and delete all the settings_*.xml files.
3. Next to user_settings should be individual folders for each of your avatar accounts. Delete any settings*.xml files there too. A side effect is that noob dialogs will reappear and you'll need to set up custom graphics etc. settings again, but such is life.
4. Restart SL and keep your fingers crossed.
I never did find out what setting was off in the xml files, but whatever it was would leave black areas on my baked textures. Maybe a video setting I played with at some point.
