I post as Sue Baskerville at sites lite technical help sites, and in reponse to newspaper stories.
Unless there's an odd fluke happening, I saw a post by dj SL avatar Nexeus Fatale in the comments at mashable.com recently.
What incongruous places do you post at using your SL avatar name? Have you seen any posts by SL avatars at sites that seemed to be a little odd owing to having nothing to do with virtual worlds?

I post my SL pictures on Flickr and I'm also on the SL Profiles site, where I've put a few pics and blog entries. I did have a Yahoo group but I gave that up as it never got any visitors and in the end it seemed pointless. I also occasionally post on the Open Life forums, to do with queries over running our standalone. I can also log in to our standalone 2-sim island, as Conifer Dada and looking much like I do in SL, but usually all the building work there is handled by Test User, who is the default avatar and looks like a scrawny version of Ruth.

Umm, there is no Flickr or internet in SL, how can you be doing that?
Did you mean to say your agent or operator is doing that?

The only non-SL related place I post is at the Prog Archives.com (Progressive Rock) forums. I am just Weston there, but I'm scarcely a regular there or here. I may soon post in an illustrator's forum using my real name which I'm won't give out here, not that it would be recognized.

I've started getting my e-bills sent to my avatar email. I'm not reading my realname email. Maybe I should set my desktop background and my browser homepages to my creditor's websites. Might get me off the computer.

There is an artist I enjoyed the work of, all line art sketches, one day I clicked his RSS feed and instead of line art, I saw half a dozen pictures from a familiar environment. Sure enough, he apparently found SL and had created some clothing and taken some photos there. Sadly, I enjoyed the sketches more...

I post to a few third party sites and blogs, but the only post on a completely unrelated blog was on an accounting blog to ask something about taxes related to income generated through work-for-hire contracts via the internet.
