Youve got issues alright. I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to let Linden Lab know how impressed i am with grid stability. Thanks for logging me out before i could say goodbye to anyone, 30 seconds after your announcement in world. Thanks for the repetition and constant interruptions to my work. I feel valued as a customer witnessing the same issues over and over and over and over and over and over and over without resolution.

Usually, when there is a fast log out like that (the last time there was, last Spring or Summer, I dun believe there was a notice), it's usually due to it being a Big Hairy Issue, like leaving people on could lead to those people facing major asset issue losses.

So which is worse? Not getting enough of a time to say your goodbyes, or losing a big chunk of inventory?

You've got a point Marianne.

I guess it wouldn't be so frustrating if we weren't constantly battling crashes, Tp failures, freezing and so forth. Rather then try and develop new features,,, can't we just have basic stability???? Please?????

Not Linden priority

A Stable Grid is an oxymoron. Why oh why does LL refuse to do a feature freeze and fix bugs? Get the grid stable LL!!! That should be the A number one priority before ANYTHING else. Period. The fact that LL has NOT publicly announced that stability and bug fixing is a priority says volumes. It basically means that you won't see a day without crashes, TP problems, forced logouts, asset losses, avi attachment scrambling, and horrible lag this year. Sad. The production grid is alpha quality at best. More like a proof of concept. As a software devloper working on large scale systems supporting millions of users on hundreds of servers, I have to say that I have never, in my career, seen a production system with reliability this poor. The database / network problems that LL seems to have constantly are insane. No excuse for it in this day and age.

They did. It may have been a bit before you rezzed in, though.
