New client sculpts deformed looking

hey everyone i just finally downloaded the new client thats been out for awhile and i am a furniture maker clothes designer and all of a sudden since i downloaded this all sculpts and such are looking deformed , like say its supossed to be round but it has pointy corners and edges and just not right has anyone else had this problem?

Which client do you mean? If you mean the current main viewer, I've been using it since October, and I've had no problems whatsoever viewing sculpts. If you mean the latest RC, I haven't tried it yet, but I haven't heard anyone else complain about sculpts rendering incorrectly in it.

Did the new install perhaps wipe your graphics settings? Check your object detail slider in your graphcis preferences. Make sure it's all the way up.

Also, have you tried clearing your cache? It's possible there's some lingering bad data in there.

Additionally, you might want to update your video card drivers.

yeah your details sliders may be back to their "normal" positions wich is an insanely aggressive LOD reduction at even 3 meters or so.

Also, the newer clients are even worse at rezzing things in at lowest LOD untill you cam into them. It's reall stupid sad. (That and the returning invisible avatar bug)
