Is there a cure for the new Ruth ,i have logged in many times today and am allways just a cloud of smoke.

If clearing your cache and relogging doesn't help, try going into Edit Appearance for a few seconds and then just close out of it again.
Or, on the Advanced or Client menu (depending on viewer version) ctrl+D to activate if it isn't on your menu bar, go to Character > Rebake Textures and see if that helps.

You could also try rebaking. (I remember seeing it in the viewer menu somewhere, but maybe someone more experienced could tell you more about that) edit: Um yeah...what she said. |

Just to add that you should add logging into a different sim than the one you're along with clearing cache  . (Edit / Preferences / General / make sure "Show Start Location is checked", Clear Cache, close SL, open SL, in the little dropdown where it says "My home" or "My Last Location" just type in a sim name. Hahne or Kara should do fine since they're full water sims) (Also you can't go into Appearance when you're ruthed  ) |

Another friend of mine got stuck in cloud this morning, and it took a couple extra moments for my shape to load as well. I spy with my little eye a database issue.

Hmm.. yeah, it could be a server side issue. If it doesn't clear up with a log in to a different sim, then you might want to reboot your modem/router and try again.
One question: Do your folders have items in them? If not, get on support now.
