About a month ago, my entire inventory went missing,
over the next couple of hours after that a few bits and pieces came back, however not even half of what I had had.
Not more than 2 days ago I got it all back! I was ecstatic.
I am normally happy to let these issues play out on there own, but this is the longest I have ever had to wait.

But now it's gone again.
Almost all of it
I have virtually nothing in my inventory other than the avitar I am wearing and a few items I picked up in the last 24 hours.
All my textures.
All my photos.
All my builds.
All my animations.
Everything is missing.

I can't wait another month to get my stuff back again,
but I have no idea how to go about asking for help.
I looked at the support ticket thing but because I am on a basic account it appears I can't enter one for this issue.
Having never sought out help for these problems before I have no idea how to do it.

All you can do is to upgrade to Premium and then file a support ticket.

I believe you could also use phone support. I would also consider bringing it up at an appropriate office hour

did you clear your cache and relog? that's usually the first thing to try.

Actually, that sounds like you're looking at the "Recent" tab in your inventory, is all...

If that were the case it is likely I would have spotted it within the last month of my inventory build missing :D
I am no newbie, I just haven't ever looked for help with SL related problems before.

I have no idea how but clearing the cash appears to have done it....
It never worked before. and I use it once a week :D
Thank you very much for the help

For future reference, manually deleting the cache file from your hard drive will often work if clearing it via the SL viewer does not.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
