I bought this nifty outfit, then I had to spend an entire day finding 'just the right' shoes. U know! well, I put on the suit today and then put on the shoes, but when I did ALL THE CLOTHES except the shoes disappeared. But, since I had them on I spent about 10 minutes adjusting them to fit perfectly. THen I went to the inventory and all my other clothes were there, so I put them on. But when I did MY SHOES DISAPPEARED. And, they didn't go back to the inventory. Please tell me where R my shoes, and why does the program insist I only wear them naked?

are you clicking add to outfit( which will add the item you wish to wear to your ensemble) or replace outfit(which will take everything off you are wearing at the present time)? had some really embarrassing moments when doing that. as for your shoes, type the name of them in your search bar at the top of your inventory, or check your trash folder, as i have also hit delete a time or two as well.

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Are you dragging the clothes and/or shoes folders onto your av? If so, the contents of the folder will replace whatever else you are wearing instead of just adding to it. Also, if you did drag the shoes, you may have missed your av and dragged them into the floor or rug instead. Right-click>Edit the floor and check the Contents tab (you may need to click the button to expand your Edit window first). If you're in a linked structure, check the 'Edit Linked Parts' box and click the floor again to look at just what's in there.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Well Saucy Hooker, I'm not sure why the 'program' would insist on you being naked to wear those shoes. Let's try this,
1st Go to Edit at the top of your screen. You should be able to see in the drop-down 'Detach' which will show you where your shoes are attached, (should be your left and right feet, and maybe bottom legs too).
Then, wear your clothes and go see in Edit where each item is attached.
Unfortunately, items can not be attached to the same spot, (can't share same spot).
Ann is probably right about your missing shoes having been dropped by accident..
