I've long been smitten by Skell Dagger's sign line here.

"It always ends in chickens..."

As this forum is coming to an end -- and given this *is* Resident Answers, after all -- I suspect this might be my last chance to ask: Does it really always end in chickens? :D

So - which came first, the chicken or the egg? If it ends in chickens does that mean the egg came first?

Who's on second?

Who's on Second Life?

(Glad to see the talented Skell back with us if only for a short time.)

OK, I'll come clean and explain the sig at last. Everytime Daros pulled me into his Huddles when we went dancing he would *always* end up triggering the chicken dance at some point during the night. Ergo, it always ends in chickens. :D

There's bits in there about being edited out

Animals other than chickens laid eggs before chickens evolved, so between eggs and chickens, eggs came first.

Whew! Thank you for explaining that one, Skell...it always puzzled me, but it seemed everyone else seemed to know so I just nodded like I understood. :p

And then there's the Scion chickens...but that's a whole other kettle of...errrr fish?
