Hi im trying to figure out why my appearance screen will not come up when i want to change my look. all help is welcome thanks.

Hi Dressaisthe...what exactly are you doing to go into appearance mode? Right clicking and choosing from the pie menu or just getting on a pose stand?

Without knowing anymore details, try going into Preferences -> Network(i think) and clearing cache. Log out, and back in. You can go to edit mode two different ways. As Smoke says, by dbl clicking -> pie menu, or through Edit at the top of your screen.

I only get this when the asset server is broken and I'm walking around as ruth. The grid often goes offline soon after.

Doesn't that also happen when you get red-mapped?
 If that was it, relogging should be all it needs hopefully!  _____________________
