Hello....I have a new job helping a shop owner with her business. My first assignment is to find where the Linden sponsored Resident Advertising is at. Are there such places? Places that Linden has out for businesses to use to for free or a very low price to promote their businesses? I went to Help Island one day to ask and no one seemed to know the answer....asked some business people I know and they had no idea. I really don't want to lose my new job because I failed my first assignment. If anyone can help me I thank you so much.

Maybe try the classified sections of the forums. Your boss might be able to advertise her product there.

Does she use SLex or OnRez to sell her items? Those places are consulted by much more people than the classifieds, here. (Although, by all means, do use the SL classifieds)

Also keep in mind the "Place listing" on the "about this land" window.. and of course, you can place "Classified" ads in the inworld search, through your (or the shop owner's) profile on the "Classifieds" tab.

I should add that I think I was wrong saying "all," as all the infohubs had the choice to use them or not but not all do. Went to have a nosey at this the other day. I decided to add my ad and notecard. I followed all the instructions and was told that my ad would show for 2 weeks. But when does it actually appear? I flicked through the ads an the same few as before were still showing. Also just wondering if there's a list of places that still have these. Does anyone know where there are more? I managed to find only one other so far which didn't seem to work anyway. _____________________
