Ok.....I know this must have happened to others......and I think actually it happened to me last year after the new year too! Doh! But.....every time I have tried to log in to the web site for the past few weeks.....I get a security certificate warning and error message that will not allow me to continue to log in.
I've tried using my Explorer and Mozilla.....both gave me the same warning. Finally in Mozilla I've by-passed it by sheer force :p But WTF.... are they really that lax about updating their security cert. or is someone out there really good at hijacking? It's kind of annoying that I can't get in to adjust billing info or check the forums or whatever.....anyone else experience this? (and now that I'm in....I don't dare DO anything with my account cause gawd only knows what kind of warning I might get next lol)

Edit....LMAO...ok...I just tried to go into 'support' to see if there's any info on security certificates for the site....and I get the WARNING again...."this website is untrusted......." bla bla bla LOL Oh the irony.

Sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't, with Explorer. When I do get it, I also get another box that says 'Connect Anyway'. I click yes, and that's that......

Yup...I get that box with explorer too....but it wont connect.....it loops me back around to the log-in screen where it wants me to re-type my info......something tells me that's not a good sign. Explorer simply will NOT allow me to log in to the SL web site....nada....zippo....not gonna happen. :p

Mozilla is ok for now....but it gives me fits with a lot of other web sites I go to....including MSN where it seems to hate the idea of my replying to emails. lol Oh well....

Were I you, I would run a HiJackThis scan and look for a browswer hook. It does not really sound like that is happening, but it wouldn't hurt and might give you a little more peace of mind.
