Trying to Deed Mainland land I just purchased

can anyone help me I have talked in long conversations with the guy I purchased it from and he has helped me by dragging tiers into the group so I couls buy land for group

but I have more land ot get into my group was suggested to me to use another group and donate tiers to it so I cna buy the land with it then I could drag the tiers back into the original group so I can repurchase the land into the group I want the land to be owned under

seema all very confusing any land experts?

I have no idea how to donate tiers to my group inorder to allow the group to be able to have enough land credits to buy the land that I own but its owned under my name just need it moved to my group is all

any help would be appreciated ty

I am assuming that you (and your alt) are the only group members...or at least that you are the only group member who's donating tier.

1. Decide how much land you want to own.
2. Find a parcel/parcels to buy.
3. Go to My Account and make sure that you are at a tier level that will let you buy the land you want. If you want to own between a quarter and a half region, you'll have to be at the $125/mo. level, for example.
4. Donate your tier to the group. To do that, open the group window and the Land/$ tab.
You'll see that the group can own more land than you could as an individual. This is the 10% group bonus at work. Donate enough tier to cover the tier for the land you plan to buy.
5. Go to the parcel you want to buy, open About Land, and choose Purchase For Group. Do NOT just right click and Buy from the pie menu.
6. Buy the land.

EDIT: If you, personally, already own the land, you can Deed it to the group. Before you do anything, though, read the sticky on transferring group land at the top of this forum. It explains the whole thing.

Make sure that your group role allows you to deed land to the group. If you don't own the group you might not have this ability.

Wow.. I don't know how I missed this option this whole time. I always end up taking tier out of the groups, purchasing, then deeding back to the groups. All the wasted time. geez.

One guestion, if you are authorized to buy for a group and there is land set to sell to only your name, can you use this feature? or is it back to switching the tier around?

I thought I got a 10% bonus for using group to own it

sim and half is aprox 97,000 sqm

so should I get 9700 sqm tier free only have to buy it

does soemthing have to update for me to get he extra showing in my group?

If land is set for you to buy, you can right-click to to see the "Buy for Group" option.
All of my tier is in groups, and I generally buy straight into the group - even when the land is set to me.

I get the impression that you have two groups owning land and now want the land to be owned by a single group.

If that's the case, you can withdrawn tier from one group (A) and donate it to the group that is to own the land (B). That leaves group.A in 'negative tier'. You would see a warning in the group's Land and L$ section to the effect that members have to donate tier.
You then have enough tier in group.B to buy the land from group.A

The 10% bonus is simple. All donations to a group are inflated by 10% in the group.
If you donate 1000m, the group has 1100m it can own.
