Hi!

I know this is a basic question. If I attach an HUD and it doesn't appear, how can I find it?

You mean on the display screen? If so, you can right click and edit something else on the screen. Then use your mouse wheel to scroll out. You will see the pesky hud . Catch it with edit, and drag it into the area that will show after you scroll back in. Leave edit, and all is well now.

You can search your inventory to see that the HUD is actually attached by searching for "worn". If it is, it is likely off screen and you'll have to reposition it back into place. Here's a step by step video you can follow that explains it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Viksbg-juw4

In addition to being off-screen, sometimes a HUD will be rotated edge-on to the screen, making it hard to see. Use the rotation edit tools (hold CTRL) to rotate it front-side-to.

The worst HUD I ever had was a freebie...the maker had made all the textures transparent except the buttons. You couldn't find the thing on a bet, without enabling View Transparent.
