I'm looking for a Victorian style hair, a bun, or Gibson girl look, but very messy looking. Does anyone have an idea where I might find such a hairstyle?

Analog Dog makes a style called Monday which is pulled back into a bun; it's a largish bun and has pieces hanging loose here and there. It comes in color packs which include about six colors. That's the first one that comes to mind.

You could also try Prim & Proper, she has some hairstyles to go with her period clothing. In fact, type some keywords into Search. Words like victorian, period hair, and so on. You could be very pleased with the shops that come up.

I just found a place last night (sorry I don't remember the name) upstairs in the Virtual Impressions mainstore...they had some amazing hair and a beautiful updo which sort of sounds like what you are looking for. I almost bought it to wear with my renaissance type stuff but unfortunately it was scripted and no mod (if it was mod then I could have removed the scripts) so I didn't. But it was really pretty.

Rachel Boram recently set a number of excellent hairs as free in her shop...Hair @ Vignette. There's a Gibson Girl, as well as a number of other period styles.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll check them out when I get in world tonight. I did try searching for the keyword Victorian, but didn't think of period hair. Great idea.

1-800-Bettie's (sp) carries vintage attire - mostly 40's & 50's but some of her hair might work.

If you don't find exactly what you're looking for, Maitri, I can suggest getting one of my superb sofas instead
