I was just looking over the economic numbers and the amount of islands sold in July to date is negative 393.

Are islands being taken out of Second Life?

This might just be 'heresay' but I have heard that people are having LL just delete or turn-off islands because they can't afford the estate fees and can't find buyers for them.

This makes sense, that runup a few months ago was pretty ridiculous.

What, they added 45% more islands in one month or so :)
