Does anyone know what effect Prim lights have on a sims performance? Has anybody done any tests on this? If so what were the results?

None, lights are something that only matters to the viewer.

Also take into account that users who have local lighting turned off (in their viewer's graphics preferences) will never see the prim lighting. So if you rely on prim lighting for certain effects, they won't get the effect you're hoping for them to get. |
