Hi
I ma trying to make a heaven kind of effect and i am needing some fog/mist....
does anyone know where i can get some please?
i have a particle script for steam but that doesnt work as well as i hoped it would..

I'd suggest products wanted.. generally less chance of a thread being buried in general.. anyway
You could use prims, textured with one of the waterfall layer textures in your library, bring down the transparency to around 20 or 30, and give it a smooth texture animation, of rotation, and it should look like mist floating over the ground. I use this at my Home for a couple of small area in the entry, and it looks nice.
Also, steam would probably rise too much, though maybe not.. there are better particle scripts for fog than steam I'm guessing.

I dont have the script, but if you are prepared to buy something for this then i would recommend the weather generator that I have, that has a fog fucntion.
Its the one from Damani and can cover a complete sim or just 20#20m

Rez Gods has some cloud objects. Their usual use is to serve as the foundation for skyboxes "supported by the gods", or to provide visual screening. I don't know if they'd work for what you have in mind, though.

I'll save you the trip to products wanted, and instead direct you to the particle laboratory (inworld) not only do they have free particle scripts to play around with (incuding some that will like fit your need) but you'll learn how to make your own custom ones (they do a nice job of simplifying the job)
