System Error Message -- Unable To Buy Land

I keep trying to buy this parcel of land which is set to sell only to me. Every time I try to purchase the land the buying process *goes all of the way to very end* (even past the little warning box to click ok). At the very end of the process there is a message

In big white letters it says "Cannot buy now:"

Below that it says "There has been an error while fetching land buying information. Despite our best efforts something unexpected has gone wrong."

I keep filing bug reports and asking for a sim restart. But nothing. Anybody ever experienced this or know what is going on or how to get Linden to pay attention.

I'm not sure why the Lindens still use the word 'unexpected' in this message, as I get it an awful lot. Has this happened over a period of time or just one day? If the latter it may just be a temporary SL 'feature'.
I presume you have enough tier to buy the land.

This happens to me frequently. I've always just had to wait it out. Usually a system-wide server issue. Try relogging and clearing cache just in case.

You have the tier and you are a premium member, right?
