how can the person that owns this sim run bots but get other people that ARE registered as scripted agents booted when her bots have nothing done to them? kinda odd there.

but get other people that ARE registered as scripted agents booted Why would anyone register real people as scripted agents? I can see why this would raise suspicion. _____________________

Because real people who act as shop models - for instance - must be registered as scripted agents? ftw BUT they will still get booted so dont bother registering your models.. its doesnt DO anything at all for ya. |

Why would anyone register real people as scripted agents? I can see why this would raise suspicion. Someone who works in a parcel should have their status set to "Scripted Agent" so that they don't inflate/game Traffic in that parcel. "Scripted Agent" is a very stupid term for LL to pick for that status. When they leave the parcel to wander around the Grid, they could log in to the website and change their status - and repeat the process when they return to a parcel at which they should not affect Traffic. Changing status is inconvenient, so such a person might just leave it set. So the landowner in question 1) Boots genuine shoppers because they (at some time in the future) will not increase her Traffic or 2) Is under the impression that evil copybotters/rippers always declare themselves as such, and never try to give the impression that they are normal avatars. _____________________

Ooh, that's another issue. I have some customers who love standing next to my lucky chair and browse my stuff. If they got booted because they were just STANDING there, I'd be more than a bit ticked and file an AR against whichever Linden came up with the idea.
Raudf and Trilliannas are registered scripted agents, even though I'm always behind the keyboard. If that means I'm just gonna get kicked for no clear reason, then I'm taking them off it. I just didn't want their stats counting on MY shop. _____________________
