Is there any disavantage in granting a non-officer/owner (but a higher role than Everyone) rights to buy and deed land for the group (but not give them rights to share the proceeds of a sale), assuming the groups land tier can handle more land?

It seems like it would be advantagious for a group to allow members to buy/deed land to the group. Even if the land isn't useful to the group, it could be sold to fund useful group land aquisitions.

All this is assuming that the owners/officers are interested in the group's growth and stability, and not a land scam.

Not sure if it's the only risk, but one that I can see is just difficulty in coordinating which land should be held by the group using any donated tier. Say the group is sitting on some unused tier, and somebody deeds land to the group without also donating more tier to cover it: It will use up that pre-existing tier--which the Owners may have had plans to use for some other land.

In my Family group, I allow everyone to buy and deed land to the group. Only thing is, if something is donated, and the tier isnt there somehow, I'll remove the land from the group.

Only I can join parcels, so it's easy to distinguish.
