I'll see if I can find a SLURL next time I'm in-world. The 3D "innovations centre" on the Second Life site cost £20,000 to set up and £12,000 a year to run even though it is not accessible to the public. _____________________

The last time I tried, I found the connection to be very unstable, and most of the world filled with spam. There are numerous pornography dens and online gambling. And he wondes how many have actually played- when was the last time he tried it if gambling was still around- goodnes know there is no gambling ever in other famous convention cities - cause of course, business conventions are well know to be about nothing BUT business -  _____________________

a) it's been at least two years ago when he tried it, probably more (yes, than gambling, plus it sounds like the connection issues of pre '07) and b) he didn't actually have enough imagination to get out and explore (then again, a commentator doesn't need an imagination...) _____________________

I took his meaning to be he was forecasting the end of SL not so much its involvement with companies- but maybe he did mean business wise- as long as they leave OUR sL alone!! _____________________
