I hate Jira. It's complicated and scary, and imho, better left to someone smarter than me.
But this morning I was playing around with shadows in the official release of 1.23 and I found that when I went into view/landowners with shadows enabled, the land didn't change color the way I expected it to. The tinted land was only visible in the water.
So, I did a search in Jira and being unable to find the issue, I created my first bug report.
But now I'm wondering--shadows are an unsupported feature. My bug isn't all that big a deal. Should I have not bothered?

I wouldn't worry about it, 90% of JIRA listings go unfixed anyway!

You probably only wasted your own time.
Now it will either go ignored, or some JIRA busybody will close it for you.
I hate JIRA.
