Hello everyone.. I am trying to figure out where to find such a thing.. a program or anything.. inworld or not. i need something easy to work around.. i've tried blender.. but i still can't get around it well. i need a program that is easy to use.. i try to find tutorials on youtube and everything but most of the turorials have one thing in common.. they aim users who are familiar to that program. :S
let me know if you know of any programs/ turorials.. what ever you can find.. thanks :)

Best to look and ask questions about this in the building forums, it's quite active and questions get answered quickly and probably more professionally than in this part of the forum.

Get Sculpt Studio

Buy a copy of Sculpt Studio for 4999 lindens. Sculpting techniques are based on the usual SL building tools and there is also a very useful support group called 'Sweet Sculpties'. Ghanie Lane has a very good five part tutorial tailored for absolute beginners that will take you through the basics in a matter of hours.

I think Sculpt Studio is sold in-world but you can get it from XLStreet.

I have had a some success with Wings3d. It's a free program and MUCH easier than Blender. I've found Blender an expedient one-way ticket to a padded cell and only marginally harder than learning to pilot an airplane with your feet while playing virtuoso violin.

There are a number of Wings3d starter spheres and shapes available in the builder's forums. These are handy because scuplties have to have a specific number of planes and vertices that you then easily manipulate within Wings3d.

Good luck!

Ephraim - I'll need to check out Sculpty Studio. Wasn't aware there was such a thing. Thanks.

I actually checked it on xstreet before posting this thread but i am afraid of purchasing it.. i am not sure how much i need to know before purchasing it. but the reviews are great. i've also checked the place in Fermi (where they hold all the classes and tutorials).. looks good. so i might go for it. :)
thanks a lot for your response. :)
