So... I have this group.
This group owns land.
Two people own the group.
One doesn't want the other to be in the group any more.
This one wants to sell the land.
Any help?
OK..sowwy..no idea why I did it like that. Better explanation:
I founded a group, that owns my land. I made another person an owner, because at the time, we were together, happy, all that. We aren't together anymore... I do still trust them, however, I wish to sell some land for a little extra monies (Not all of my land..waiting for better prices). Problem is, if I do that, then she gets a third of it (Me an alt and her are the three owners), which isn't exactly working for me. I can't sell it to myself because I'm maxed on tier, and that's with the group bonus.
So..is there any way to boot her from group? I'd just ask her to leave if she came on, but she hasn't been on in about 3 weeks.
I know that I can't kick an owner, but would LL be willing to help me at all? All of the transactions for buying land, donating tier, everything is from me, so it's obvious only my monies went into the thing, and the group was obviously made by me (Says mah name on it and everything)

Regardless of any prior 'Gentleman's agreement' you had, as far as Linden is concerned you're both owners. Likewise, you'll both receive a distribution when the land is sold. All of the transactions for buying land, donating tier, everything is from me, so it's obvious only my monies went into the thing, and the group was obviously made by me (Says mah name on it and everything) 99.999% chance Linden will be unwilling to help you, since you're both "Owners". As far as they're concerned, the owner has as much right to the land as you do. Here's a potential workaround you might try, however.... Create a new group - get some friends with some spare tier to join the group, and donate enough tier to cover the land long enough to get it sold. *Make sure you don't designate your friends as owners, or recipients of group distributions. Sell your land for $0 to the new group, which you're the sole owner of.... then sell it. You'll be the only one that gets the money distribution if you set it up right. Good luck!

I guess I'll just hope she comes online soon ^_^ Maybe I'll make an army of 100 alts, and make all of them group owners, and then she'll only get 1/103 of the monies! OK no.. I'm too lazy. That's really gotta be something I don't like about groups though. I think they should be able to be founded by more than one person, and only the founders have the ultimate right of not being able to be kicked. If that makes sense.. Anyway, thanks again!

Another way is to just withdraw enough tier from the original group, to cover the land you want to sell. Then just sell the land to yourself. No need for another group and guarantee that you alone will get the proceeds and no waiting for group dividend payouts.

No need for another group and guarantee that you alone will get the proceeds and no waiting for group dividend payouts. This is one thing I can't do. The group tier bonus is the only reason I can have so much. If I withdraw enough to give myself some land, then the group won't have enough tier to cover it. (I know the group is fine for something like 24 hours, but knowing me I'd wait too long)

That all sounds complicated. Can your group sell it to you for L$1? Make sure you set it to sale ONLY to YOU or the land bots will get it. That should work. Then it's yours and you only lose L$.50

Withdraw your tier from the group... Add this tier to a group you start with an alt... Sell land from the first group to the second group for L$0 to what is allowed in the second group.
Only do this IF you are the one that paid for the land you are selling. This way, the land you put in tier for is secured in your name.

That's dishonest, devious, uncivilized and down right low. I like it!

You could rent some tier for the group to cover your tier withdrawal temporarily. The Land Ninjas (Elanthius & Skye & co.) do that.

Kiera,if you want to try Travis's idea let me know. I have about 22k in tier you can borrow for a few.(I'll join your group and donate tier, that you sell the land to for 0$)
