I just downloaded the new Windlight viewer upgrade...and I can't remember how I turned off the mouseover popups last time...the ones that pop up over every single line as you go down your inventory and totally obscure your vision. Can someone help me with this small, but totally aggravating thang? :-[

should be the same for windlight though

hmm. It does sound like a no-brainer, but I now have Hovertips UNchecked (Windlight viewer) and they are still showing up. I relogged. Still there. Checking and unchecking has no effect in Windlight viewer. Apparently, unchecking hovertips is also having no effect for me in the standard viewer, but at least the popups are not present. The aggravation is bad enough that I will stick to the standard viewer until I can figure this out. anyone? anyone.....? I know this is not one of the juicier threads, but this has to be aggravating someone else other than me!

LoL I think I prefer your thread over any of the 'Juicy' ones. I haven't really noticed the hover info blocking my view of inventory until recently, so I betting you're right about it being about RC viewer. I'm going inworld, and I'll try both to see. I'll try the 'no-brainer' suggestions, too.

I do not use windlight but am guessing it is the same
did you try unchecking all 3
show tips, all tips and land tips just to be sure?

Rha, in Windlight...Land Tips and Tips on all Objects are dimmed, not offered as options. You only get Show Tips as an option.
It was hard for me to see that because the danged popups are making it so difficult for me to even read inventory or menu options.
BTW, these hovertips are operational on the login screen too. I get "panel_login.xml" just resting on the login picture. If that means anything to anyone.

maybe your client got corrupted, ahve you tried a clean out and reinstall?

Well, there doesn't seem to be any difference in either viewers I'm using. I simply do not get any pop-ups over my lines in inventory. The only ones I get are when I hover over the tabs (All and Recent). When I turn off 'show tips' in 'hover tips' in View, it simply turns off tips over other avatars and scripted objects and such. I'm not sure I know how you get hover-tips on every line in your inventory.
