A couple of weeks ago, they expanded the asset server and the number of non-deliveries went down very noticeably - almost to none. This week they added new code, and are doing a rolling restart right now. Suddenly there's a huge increase in non-deliveries - dammit!
Mandatory question: Comments?

Search is intermittently down as well, and they have disabled Friends Online. Object rez is slow.
A few months ago, all these were well-known symptoms of times when inventory loss occurred. It could be they fixed the bugs that led to inventory loss ... or maybe not.
<-Not going inworld tonite. Even tho every vendor in Fashcon is giving away freebies. .

From: Phil Deakins Mandatory question: Comments? It's all your fault, Phil. They read your other thread and you have angered the Gods. Now we have to sacrifice a virgin. Will someone go over to Orientation Island and grab one, please?

LOL.
You'd get 2 in 1 there. I'm Phil, and I'm a virgin :/
It turned out that the sim hadn't even had the restart - still hasn't. Whatever caused/is causing the non-deliveries all of a sudden, it isn't anything to do with after the restart.

Blog: From: someone [Update 6:13 PM] We are currently rolling all regions back to the previous version (1.18.6.77554) due to the early detection of a potentially significant performance issue. This process should complete in approximately 2 hours. Until then, regions that have been stuck in the “down” state will continue to exist as such. Once all regions have been reverted, downed regions will restart. Version 1.19.0 is on hold until further notice. Surely you guys mean you want to sacrifice the Linden named Phil, right? He's not a virgin, but it would be a lot more satisfying ... even tho your offer is appreciated Mr. Deakins, and we'll keep it on file for when another camping thread starts up ... .

He's not a virgin, but it would be a lot more satisfying ... even tho your offer is appreciated Mr. Deakins, and we'll keep it on file for when another camping thread starts up ... . yea and that CG linden dares to say this From: someone Well, considering that just a few months ago, we had 4-6h of downtime on every upgrade and still ran into trouble when starting back up, 20 minutes of troubled time seem like an improvement to me. they started this work yesterday and it has been shit since then, not to mention the rest of the crap for the past days... soon i`m going to say what i think in a post that would prolly gets me banned for life but no one has the guts to do while they clearly think it! so much for the remaining signle grain of hope that they pulled their shit together From: someone This process should complete in approximately 2 hours. Until then, regions that have been stuck in the “down” state will continue to exist as such. Once all regions have been reverted, downed regions will restart. instead of doing the downed regions first, as they`re down nway and can`t be F***up anyway and then revert all other regions beats me, they need to "play" on live servers again befor seeing if it got fixed, sorry, "fixed" they`re either are ignorant as .... or complete ...... if ANYONE of us would run their business this way, we`d be out of money, customers and swamped in love mails, it`s cause SL is unique (for the time being) they`re literally taking the piss with us and if we say anything, a ban is hanging abouve our heads because suddently they find "time" to moderate! with a work flow that they have, no wonder we`re going backwards, some one needs to pull that TAO out of their ...... and just PUT them to work this is getting ...... redicilous and no sort of communication what so ever besides "piss off and let us play... oh you paid money? sucker!" better get some sleep or else that post might find it`s way here tonight... f`it, got my own webserver, maybe start making my own blogs where no linden can touch me... oh and btw From: blog due to the early detection of a potentially significant performance issue yea...regions didn`t come back online, gawd what a system...

Do you mean people buy something, and it doesn't appear in their inventory?
YES! My customers have been having this problem.
And you know, not all customers feel outgoing enough, or something, to ask the creator for the item. (I had one whose friend did it for her.)
So please, if people are not receiving their items, tell the seller! For no-transfer items at least, it's a simple matter of looking it up on transactions (when transactions is working, that is), and then giving you the item you paid for.
We want you to have your items!

That's exactly what it is. It was so bad for a while at my place that i stood in the store waiting for people who it happened to. It's only happened once since then tho.
