If it is some of the Linden 1-prim grass, it can be a bit difficult to select. Try zooming in close on a particular clump of grass, click on it to select it, and then zom back out to see if selection arrows are nearby.

I've tried that also.. it must be originating from a micro prim

Coincidentally, I'm having the same problem with what I think is Linden plant stuff - it covers quite a decent area with small spaced-out plants. I can't even zoom close to select it because is disappears when you get closer to it and there's nothing to select.

The grass is probably coming from a particle generator. If you turn on View>>Highlight Transparent you will likely find a .5m sphere in the center of the grass patch. That's the piece you need to delete.

I already tried looking for anything transparent but there's nothing there. It's weird how my stuff disappears as you approach it, or zoom in on it. It completely disappears.

I think the Linden grass problem is quite different from the grass hut problem, and that the Highlight Transparent thing will work for the grass hut because there must be some tiny transparent prim emitting very stable particles. It might help to turn on View/Beacons/Particles. Or a sensor scan with very short range might identify the exact coordinates to make the hunt easier. The challenge here is that one's agent has to be pretty close for really tiny prims to rez, and if they won't rez, you can't select them, even by dragging a rectangle around them.
Linden grass is very strange stuff. I once had the hare-brained notion to rez some in a skybox--which of course doesn't work: the damned weeds sprouted on the ground somewhere, and it was nightmarish to find the thing and root it out. I've never had any luck dragging a rectangle around Linden plants to select them. Eventually I managed to grab one of the weeds but it was anything but systematic. |

Well, with a Linden coming to look at it, I got rid of my plants problem. Restarting the sim didn't help, but he came up with a nice little trick that may help the OP's problem...
I cut a piece of land out that contained the plants, and then I returned them to the owner. A neat little trick for anyone who comes across the problem. _____________________
