I logged on to SL this morning to find my account L$1250 richer. I looked on my transaction history to find a Linden Grant, source

ystem.

Anyone have any idea what this is? I searched the forums but came up with nothing.

If you original sign in as a free account and then decide to become a premium account later on, you are not eligible for the bonus $1000.00L. Is that what you did?

I have heard that "Linden Grant" is also used when you buy something from someone that is no longer in the system and LL refunds the purchase back to you in order to reconcile their books.

Same thing just happened to me. I have no idea why. I bought a small plot of land next to my original property about two days ago, but it seems unlikely that has anything to do with it. It's the same "Linden Grant" thing.

It's a 90 (not 60, as mentioned above) day wait for Premium bonuses. LL was only giving them to people who started Premium (rather than those who upgraded from Basic) for a while so, since it seems like they've changed that policy, they may be playing catch up on those who didn't receive them during that period of time. Or they may be behind for some other reason entirely.
