Hi there, can anyone recommend a great place to buy clothes that you can demo before purchasing and that are nice but not too expensive? I keep landing in stores that do not have the option to demo first. Thx so much

I'm not about demo clothing. But haveyou tried Free Dove? Lots of very good stuff, I hear and most of it free, plus they have very cheap flexi hair.

Generally speaking, clothing stores do not do demos. I've seen demo formals and wedding gowns, as well as a few places with demo shoes and jewelry, but it's not common.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

nuclear boutique doesnt have demos, but they usually have a sales assistant there who should have access to everything to be able to model it.

kayliwulf kingdom usually has free versions of their stuff, maybe not of all items. besides, kayliwulf's not really everyone's taste (latex. naughty latex. and ever more naughy latex.)

bare rose started having demos of their items when they rely heavily on prims, especially sculpted prims.

I know Blaze has demos for men (which I learned when I tried my hand at a male alt), but I do not recall if they have demos for women.

Adam n Eve has demos for a lot of their clothes
Hexed only just started offering demos (*and* she sells both C/NT and NC/T now :))

There's a few other stores that offer demos for clothing, but I can't recall them right away :o. Hopefully it's the start of a continuing trend where trying on a demo for clothing will be as normal as trying on a demo for hair and shoes :).

This is why Shiny Things is the first place I go to find shoes. They have demos. I've wasted too much on useless pairs at other places.

Blaze has demos for women as well. Blaze seems fairly expensive to me though.

Last Call doesn't do demos, but I have yet to be unhappy with any clothing purchased from there (Boots on the other hand...).

Try a lovely little shop called Alchemy. Reasonably priced dresses, most with demos, and free dresses under the Christmas tree. Sister shop (Angels) is giving away a free pair of shoes each day from their advent calender. The brackets round Angels is part of the name.

Now I'm going to have to go take a look at these places. I don't need more temptation to spend money dang it. :-p
