Egon's recent post about his auction tribulations may provide a clue. From: Egon Rothschild seems that the auction system is sorta stuffed at the moment.
in the bowels of sl, it shows available for me to buy. but it still shows as auction on ABOUT LAND and the website link from PAY NOW leads nowhere.
luckily, i got a hold of leo and guy linden who are helping in this matter.
i'll keep y'all posted.
