all right, i just have to state my personal crackpot conspiracy theory. remember when sl introduced voice? and you couldn't turn without the screen freezing for two minutes?
okay, so the grid has been a dog for the past two weeks and adult content filtering has come online at the same time.
hmmmm!
anyway, i do recall someone saying that all the double checking on teleporting to an adult place if you don't have that turned on, and all the searches checking, and whatever checking adult vs non.... was gonna make things slower. well... things are slower!
but what i really wanted to ask was, did ll slip in another invisible 'optimization' in a recent update? it used to be that any prim that was knee-high or lower to an avatar, the avatar could walk up on/over it. however, in the past week, i have been barking my shins on mid-shin-high prims that i really should be able to step on. (and hey, i have a TALL avatar!) it's embarassing to have to jump up these little curbs.
has anybody else noticed this??
