HELP!! Quick

Before my Boss gets back.

I've managed to rezz a GIANT prim over our sim and I can't get rid of it!!! I just get a Boing when I try to.

Anyone have any idea????

What are you trying (to get rid of it)?

I wouldn't worry about it overmuch; the boss can get rid of it most likely.

It may be that you rezzed it while wearing a group tag and so it's deeded to the group. If so the owner might need to remove the prim. I dunno.

The center of the object is probably out of your edit distance. You can handle this a couple of ways. One way is to turn you graphics draw distance to max 512 in the preference - graphics menu. Another way is to disable your limit select distance in the advance menu.

This happened to me when I was still a noob. (of all things, on the same gal's land whose money tree I'd yanked up). After trying for a half hour and getting slammed against the ban lines on the sim next door, I was able to find a spot outside of this prim by camming, and sit there. Once outside of it, I could see it to delete it. You might try the map, clicking a short distance from where you are, going there and deleting it.

I'm sure others might have more clever or intelligent ways, but this worked for me.

Boss came in just as I finished posting this and fortunately she was laughing as she deleted it.

Lmao, i just got sillly when i did that, edit the prim, and move it... use the numbers and toss it off world, it will auto return, or put it someplace you have rights so you can pick it up or delete it (camming way out helps)
