Hi, where can I find out about copywriting? I have an item that I want to copywrite but I dont know if I can or how.

For info on copyrighting, see http://www.copyright.gov/ Read the instructions for how to register a work, and most importantly, read the law. It's pretty straight forward, but if you don't understand it, or if you simply lack the attention span to effectively read legalese, then hire an IP lawyer. They practically grow on trees.

Alternatively, there are a number of online legal services, such as directlegal.com and legalzoom.com, which purport to make things easier for you. I've never used them, so I really can't comment on whether they're any good or not.

My favorite copywriter is Shigesato Itoi, though I like his video games more than his taglines. I guess he probably wrote the taglines for those too though. ("No crying until the ending." Priceless.
