I haven't had many problems lately but sl is kinda of suffering growing pains again. Lots of reports of such problems.

Having lots of trouble teleporting lately. I've stripped down to non-prim clothing and biker hair and still have the same problems. It takes several tries sometimes to TP getting messages saying the TP wasn't successful, long delays when contating destination and once in a while I get a message about having been logged out and only have IM and chat available. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now.

I think it's been bad for several days, but seems worse today. Even chat was lagging quite noticeably, with lines taking a long while to show up or being out of order. A friend I was in IM with was also having same problems in a separate sim. -- Aes

I was working on a project last night when all of a sudden, I was teleported against my will somewhere. I never made it, though. I got stuck teleporting. I had to close down SL and restart and then things were fine.
I didn't know objects could mess up teleporting. I'd never really thought of that before.

Oh Yes - my bracelet definately stops me from tping. It is scripted and can change colors and all kinds of different options, I dont know if that has anything to do with it. My partner bought it for me so I cant trash it - I wont even tell him that was the problem but I have experimented with it several times and when i wear it, it just does some pretty strange stuff when I try to tp. One thing that sometimes works when i am unable to tp is to find your destination on the map and tp your way over - taking baby steps jumping over to the next area on the map....then the next.....etc etc until you reach your destination.....crazy huh...lol, but it works sometimes dont know why but hey...when ya gotta get somewhere.

From: HoneyBear Lilliehook Well, I still have what I call my "TP hair". If I wear hair over 200 prims...I'm going nowhere fast. When I make things, I like to prim down. It seems everything is faster and more reliable.
