In the past week or so, whenever I (okay, my avie) touches the land or air over the Linden road near my home, I get a Group Invite.
And when I click "Decline", I get the same invite---again and again and again and again and again and again and again. And again.
So from this evidence, I'm assuming that LL gets a nice dollar for these Extremely Persistent Ads That Force You To Decline A Dozen Or More Times Each Time You Can't Avoid Touching The Air Over A Road.
How much, do you figure?

How much, do you figure? None. Other than the tier the ad-farming skeeze who's left an auto-inviter there is paying them, likely in a 4x4 plot right next to the road. View transparent may help to find it so you can AR it, then mute the owner.

By the way, apparently these auto-inviters operate over a fair distance, as there are no 16m parcels near where I always am when I activate the Group Invite.
(I should take a look at the owners of larger parcels nearby, though. There's no Shop corresponding to the Group Invite nearby, so it's a bit of a mystery.....)

Just do look for an invisible prim hovering over Linden Land. If the inviter is crap designed, it will show encrouching, which means it's a reportable offence, and LL will remove it immediately, banning the owners' butt if they find any more of them.

It's reportable as spam too. Get 'em for both! I'll help if need be.
