ok... so whats next??

I have finally found a nice parcel to set up a little shop on, nothing huge or fancy, but something i have been working on ffor a while. I have the merchandice and I have the shop plot but what next??

After i set up everything in my shop what do i do then???

I know i need to tick the box to have my shop show up in search on the about land...

How does one 'optimise search results??'

How do i make sure my place is found??

What is the purpose of classifieds??

Any other support you can all offer me?? It would be appreciated

NCI holds a class regularly on running a business in SL that goes over all your questions.

Search some keywords on this forum. there are a lot of existing threads that answer your questions, including one on search optimization.

Here's one I found for you after searching for about five seconds:

I am not a formy type person, so the idea of searching through a load of thread for a few questions i may or may not find the answer to did not occur to me. I find the direct approach of simply asking usually good

when you find the answer of how to get found.... please let me know...
and yes I have seen and read and even contributed to those afore mentioned threads

Or as with RL, go spread the word, buy some advertising, post in events and classifieds, pass out flyers at the raves, ... err maybe not the last one.. I'm waiting for a way to do that in here!
