I just received the following group notice. I don't read the fashion blogs- does anyone know what's happening here? I thought Ginny's partner was going to continue the business. It's one of my favorite places to shop: From: someone Group Notice From: Paisley Poindexter
We have all been inspired by Last Call. Tonight at 6pm the sim is closing it's doors for good. I've been asked to send this notice along w/ the candle to ask you all to come to the Dazzle sim ASAP. People are gathering & saying their good-byes to Last Call & paying respect to Ginny Talamasca. |

Katterina is partnering up with another designer to make new things. The store is called Archange. The Archange group is also up and running now. But all of Ginny/Katterina's items will be gone as of tonight.  I am so sorry to see it go. And I'm so sorry for Ginny's family.

The closure was announced in early January. It actually originally sounded like Katterina was going to leave SL altogether and let Lyra Muse take over the sim, but I guess those plans changed. http://lastcallbydhc.typepad.com/last_call/2008/01/last-chance-for.html

hmm for some reason i cant get those links to work...i had heard that Last call was closing but i had no idea because Ginny was sick? I think I missed it all...?

I too got the impression that Katterina was going to leave, but I don't blame her for sticking around. SL is a wonderful creative outlet, and life should go on.
