Voice Issues on My Land.

I've been renting on an island for quite some time now and I've always had problems with voice! At very odd times it will work but most of the time it just doesn't. I have all permissions for the land and have tried estate spacial and private spacial. Estate didn't seem to work at all and private is the one that ooooonly works sometimes. My landlord keeps telling me its just SL messing up and everytime I go to show him the problem its conveniently working. I would really appreciate any feedback I can get on this matter.

Don't quote me on this, but when voice is enabled, isn't it for the entire sim and can't be set by parcel? If you have the voice icon on your menu bar, then I think that's all there is to it, especially since voice operates separately from the viewer client.

That said, last week voice was spotty for me too and I think it WAS problems with SL. So coincidence maybe?

Have you checked if you are able to use 'voice', without any problems, elsewhere? Go to a few places that are voice enabled just to see if it's SL acting up, or your headset that is screwy. If the only problems you ever encounter are on the parcel you rent, yes, that would be strange. If your sim is voice enabled, than I'm sure other renters are probably using it. Have you tried asking your neighbours?
