Hey, Y'all!
I was wondering--can other peeps read what I write on the Notes tab in my own profile? I thought it would be a handy place to jot down some quick notes about people I meet or hear about and then refer to later.
I'm assuming that the answer is no, since people aren't suppose to be able to read what I type in the Notes tab on their profiles, but I just want to make sure.

No, they can't read your notes.

When anyone else brings up your profile they only see notes they have added. They can't see what you (or anyone else) has put in there.

I'm rapidly reaching that age where it's tough to remember what I had for dinner yesterday. LOL
The notes tab is a great aid for remembering birthdays and such.

You can also create notecards for anything you want to jot down. I know a few people who use notecards as a journal system, jotting down places they've been, things they've bought and seen, etc.

I sometimes do notecards but most of the time they get lost in the hopeless mess of the rest of my inventory. Likewise, the text files I create on my Windows desktop. I figure if I use the Notes tab, it will be a lot handier and, since it's probably limited to a certain number of characters, I'll be more apt to keep it cleaned up. Thanks to y'all for the quick answers!

I used to keep notes in the notes section until for some reason, SL kept deleting them, on myself and on others...
(and yes I would click ok, make sure it was there, close the profile, reopen, yep it saved, check again in a few days or whatnot and it would be totally clear)
*shrug*
now I just hope I can remember or embarrass myself asking someone "how do I know you"

From: Damien1 Thorne No, they can't read your notes. Good thing, in your case.
