Weird Crashing Issue......

For the last 6 months or so I have been having issues with crashing in SL........Instead of going to the dreaded blue screen crash I would have different color screens each time.......over the last month I was crashing every 30 minutes or so......I didn't know if my computer was having grphics card issues or SL just didn't like my machine after an update which has happened before to me til SL fixed the issue......Recently I moved to a new island and now I never crash at all......the sims seem to be run on the same type of system because I don't get the notice when I switch that they are different so I don't think that's it.......Has anyone experienced this before?

I think graphics card issues usually start with a message that your card stopped working but has since "recovered." Then eventually you get red lines in your screen when the card starts burning out.

At least that is the path mine took. It is happening again to me though I ramped my graphics way down to ugly levels.

Could yours be a driver issue?

I have no issues now on the new island........haven't crashed a single time since i left the old one.......
