How do I advertise an event in SL?

Grateful if someone could explain how to get an event listed in the events listing.

Click Events on the main dashboard page...it's on the left side near the top.

Just under the calendar, there's a link to Add Event. Click that.

Pick a date, time, duration, maturity rating, title, and write a blurb. Choose a parcel from the list of available places (land you own, land your groups own, Linden owned land). Then Submit the event.

Presto.
