I just purchased a keyboard, keyboard stand and animation pose ball to use in a performance. When I purchased the items the prim count wasn't listed. I took them back to my rental property which allows 50 prims and I can't rez them. How do I check the prim count? Is there anything else I need to know about rezzing objects on rental property?
Thanks for your help. ~D.

Make sure you have the rental group tag on when you try to rez items. Without it, many places won't allow rezzing.
To check the number of prims in a object, right click it and click Edit. The number of prims is stated in the edit box. You may need to right click it and click Edit twice on other people's objects, even though the edit box opens the first time.

If you can't rez the item and think it might be due to prim count, you can try wearing the item (it should attach to your right hand) and edit it there to get the prim count. Looks silly, but it works.

Looks silly, but it works. That only works though if the item is a single linkset. It won't work for coalesced objects. Best bet is go to a large sandbox area and try rezzing the items there, to check prim count.

Try wearing the item, and then right-click and edit to see the prim count.
Or go to a sandbox to rez it (or some place that allows rez but clean up after you)

Rez them in a sandbox. Right click, choose Edit.
In the first Edit tab, General, it will say Creator, Owner, and Group in the main part.
Under Group it will say 1 Object, 10 Primitives for example.
Primitives = prims. So that is your prim count for that item.
(Right click and choose Take to pick up each item again.)
